I’ve always liked how giraffes are not only huge and powerful, but also graceful. They are guardians who protect their young and other animals by keeping a look out for predators. When I made this, I was inspired by my small statue of a wooden giraffe and I tried to capture the powerful beauty of this giant into a steel wire sculpture.
